For other Power Wedge related faults, including over-current alarms, check for these common issues:
- Blown 20A wedge fuse (found in an red in-line fuse holder under the dash)
- Blown 5A wedge fuse (found in main fuse panel under the dash)
- Failed actuator rams - with rams disconnected from the wedge frame, connect the ram's leads to a 12V battery to function test. Each ram should move at the same speed. Differing speeds will cause binding.
- Binding wedge movement - with rams disconnected, check the wedge mechanism swings freely
